Max and Santa

Tonight we took Max to Tillamook City Hall to see Santa, and the annual tree lighting ceremony. Santa was a bust, Max was scared to death. He refused to sit on his lap. I think this was a repeat from my childhood, I vaguely remember a similar instance in my own life.

He's walking......

Last night 11/9/11, Maximus took his first steps. FINALLY!!! It was so exciting. Won't be long and he's going to be everywhere! Here's a video we took that night, couldn't actually capture the moment like we would of loved to have done. As soon as we got the camera out, he didn't really want to walk. Figures huh?

Dancing.....

Here are 2 video's we took last week. Both are too adorable for words. Max loves music. I recorded Foster of The People on Ellen the other day (Dave's favorite song) and who new Max would love it just as much as Daddy.

First Halloween

For obvious reasons we did not Trick-R-Treat this year. But..... we did go to the pumpkin patch, carve a pumpkin and wore our first Halloween costume. Our costume was an adorable monkey (thank you Aunt Julie). Can't wait until next year, when he is old enough to take out and enjoy it all !

First Trip on the Beach

While house hunting along the Oregon coast, we took Max for his first trip out onto the sand (in Rockaway Beach). I'm not sure if he was too impressed, but it was fun none the less. Hazel always loves playing on the sand.....

Swimming Classes

In September, while staying at my sisters (waiting for Dave to get back from AK so we could move to the coast), Max started swimming lessons. We took parent/child classess at the McMinnville public pool and he LOVED it. This is definately something we will continue to pursue thru his childhood.
