Mom's 70th Birthday Party

For Mom's 70th Birthday party, we surprised her by having Tina and the girls  down from Idaho for the weekend. We started by celebrating at Julie's house with dinner and cake (Friday). Then on Saturday everyone stayed at our house in Oceanside. We took the girls to the beach for their first time and took them bowling for their first time too. Sunday morning we went to the Tillamook cheese factory. We had a blast and the girls loved playing with their cousin Max.

12 month pictures

Even though we just got Max's pictures taken at 9 months, I couldn't pass up the idea of having his 12 month pictures done too! Plus he had to have a cowboy picture with his new horse and getup.

1st Birthday

Today was your first birthday party. I can't believe you turned 1 years old. Just seemed like yesterday that we were trying to find Daddy's keys, so we could check into the hospital. You've been a blessing in our lives. You provide us with hours of laughter, tears and many sleepless nights, but all the warmth  you bring to our lives far surpasses everything else. What did we do without you? Can't wait to share many more birthdays with you.We love you birthday boy!!!!

Christmas 2011

What a wonderful Christmas we had. We took off late morning on Christmas Eve. Had dinner at Julie and Mom's house. Stayed there until around 7pm, then spent the night at Steve and Cheda's. We woke up and Max opened up his rocking horse. After that we went to church. Came back home and Max slept for 3 hours. After he woke up we visited with friends, opened more gifts and ate a wonderful lunch. After lunch, we took off back over the mountain and spent the evening together as a family. It was very busy, but alot of fun too. Unfortunately Max is a bit too young to appreciate the whole event, but I think he still enjoyed it. He really enjoyed church and loved playing with all of his family members. Here are a few pics of the weekend, already looking forward to Christmas of 2012.
