ZOO

Finally had the opportunity to  take Max to the zoo. It was awesome! His favorite animals had to be the bears, giraffe and monkeys. Portland has the best zoo. Can't  wait to go back.

Fishing in the drift boat for my first time

Last week we took Maximus out to Cape Meares lake in the drift boat. He loved floating around. He tried to fish,  but didn't have much patience. He really loved standing on the bank throwing rocks into the lake. He's been saying "boat" ever sense.....

Why did I decide to introduce bugs to him? Yuck!! He was so intrigued.....

New Things....

We went to the pet store the other day and Max had his first encounter with a turtle. He was very intrigued!

Because he's shown an interest in motorcycles, we went to Lee's house so he could sit on Lee's Harley. He loved it!!!

Easter 2012

The day before Easter (Saturday) we went to 2 Easter egg hunts with Maximus. First we went to the Parochial School in  Saint Paul. Then we went to the Elks. Great LONG day, but tons of fun!

Aquarium

In celebration of my birthday, we took Max to the aquarium in Newport. Watching the seals thru the glass were definitely his favorite....

 

The day after the aquarium we went to Munson Creek Falls for a short hike (on my actual B-day)
